Valisure Hosted a Junior Achievement Job Shadow
Last year, Valisure's CEO, David Light, was honored by Junior Achievement at their annual Hall of Fame event with the Entrepreneur of The Year Award. Since then, Valisure has been honored to participate with Junior Achievement in hosting a Job Shadow this fall.
Valisure hosted 15 students from New Haven Academy and Coginchaug Regional High School. David spoke with students and detailed Valisure’s inception and the important work we do to protect consumers. Students then got a full tour of the lab - getting to see the equipment in action, hearing from multiple employees, hearing about employees’ backgrounds, and asking questions. The students got to do an experiment that reflects some of the work Valisure does in its lab, and the day ended with Valisure’s Chief Scientific Officer sharing her career path.
