Valisure Participates in the 2025 HCMA Annual Patient Meeting
Valisure Co-Founder and President David Light joined Colonel (Ret.) Vic Suarez at the 2025 Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Association (HCMA) Annual Patient Meeting, a cornerstone event dedicated to education, advocacy, and research for patients and families affected by hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) and other thick heart muscle disorders.
The Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Association, based in Denville, NJ, provides critical support and resources to the HCM community, advancing awareness, legislative efforts, and the development of new treatments.
During the conference, David and Colonel Suarez presented on Generic Drug Quality, emphasizing the importance of independent testing, pharmaceutical transparency, and informed patient care. Following the presentation, they participated in a panel discussion alongside Dr. Jan Berger, Hannah, Lori Peachy, and Bill Frank, D.C., exploring the intersection of quality assurance, access, and patient safety.
